Earlier last year i visited MONA, probably the most amazing art museum i have ever seen. Mostly subterranean, the museum is a design masterpiece built by David Walsh a professional gambler and art collector.
First off, you arrive on a quirky ferry, complete with sheep to sit on or if your feeling fancy head to the posh pit where you can fill up on canapés and unlimited drinks. MONA is a place you want to keep going back to, Apart from the amazing art works including live human art (when he dies he will be skinned and made in to an art piece, see below!) it also has some great restaurants, bars and luxury accommodation. If your a super fan you could also get eternity membership, unlimited visits for life then when you die you can get cremated and your ashes are kept in the museum, totally normal! and kind of amazing.
